Accommodation

Lake Whakamarino Lodge includes three accommodation units. The Main Lodge building ("Tuai") has double, twin share or single rooms with shared facilities (quality shower/bathroom/laundry etc) with close access to the dining room, conference room, and guest lobby with phone, fax and email facilities. NB leave your mobile phone at home. There is no cell phone coverage here in paradise!

Close to the main lodge and also facing the lake is the "Manuka" lodge unit. This also has double, twin share or single rooms (sleeps 10) with shared facilities plus a self-contained kitchen/dining room with all cooking facilities, fridge, television. This unit can be booked separately by families or groups.

The "Kowhai" and adjoining "Kouku" units are just behind the main lodge next to the tennis court and surrounded by mature trees. Both units sleep five and include a small self-contained dining/TV lounge. Ideal for families, small groups or couples.

Single room $57.00 per night

Option Two: Self-contained Units

$100.00 per night per couple plus $20.00 per extra adult or $10.00 per extra child

Accommodation Group discount: 10 or more

$46.00 per night per person.

Cut picnic lunch $ 9.00 per person

Dining room lunch $19.00 per person

Dining room dinner $25.00 per person (main course only)

All children (12 yrs and younger) half price for half portions.

Conferences

Maximum 32 beds. If you require more beds for your conference we can often arrange additional accommodation at Waikaremoana Homestay (next door) or Big Bush Holiday Park (5 mins up the road). Accommodation group discount applies for 10 plus.

We can assist you to organise various activities including walks, Eco-environment tours, trout fishing, kayak and canoe trips, horse treks, Maori cultural visits. Facilities include: Conference room, video/TV monitor, overhead projector/screen, photocopier, phone, fax, and email, morning and afternoon teas by arrangement. If a larger conference room is required we can negotiate a low cost rental of the nearby Tuai Village Hall.

Conference half day fee (room hire plus extra staff ) $59.00

Full day fee $150.00 (includes GST)

NB Because of the increasing number of enquiries and bookings for conferences it is necessary to book your accommodation needs at Lake Whakamarino Lodge as far ahead as possible.
